On Line Shopping: You Better Be Patient

On Line Shopping: You Better Be Patient

When consumers make purchases, they most usually are determined by something someone said to them much more than any advertisement. Lots of people ask around about a product before they purchase to get their recommendations on who to buy it from, and to see if their friends or family have purchased the thing. Why don't individuals listen to advertising?

It's possible for you to find anything online, anything meaning literally almost whatever you can visualize. Best part of it, you can pay for it and get it sent directly to your front-door. For the most part I buy clothing online, my favourite website is Because they do not have a shopfront modCloth is a pioneer in online shopping, they exclusively sell through their site. Though many stores offer both a brick and mortar place along with a site I think visiting their site for shopping is the better choice. Let me get into why I think so.

Shopping Online - Living in-the City
Living in-the city means you most likely have access to some, perhaps many shops to choose from. Autos aren't necessary when you stay so close to everything and have public transportation available; but a car is necessary if you would like to shop, particularly when the store is across town or you might need a car depending on what you would like to purchase. offers all their items on-line, and some at cheaper prices.

Shopping Online - Living in the Country
You live within the nation, how exquisite! You most likely have a car, but you probably don't have access to all the stores like those who live-in or close to cities. Thats okay because they have made it so internet marketing can come to you. Most places even ship to PO Boxes, conditioned upon the merchandise.

This has to be one of my favourite things about shopping online over going to a brick and mortar place. The variety of products! Online, not only is there a larger variety of products (width) there is also greater choices of every commodity, such a different colours (depth) that simply cannot be matched to a storefront location. This largely has to do with space availablility. Generally, companies have a main warehouse from where they send everything bought online. So even if you choose to shop at a store and they are out of the size or the color you wanted, visit the website! Maybe you'll begin shopping online more:)

Take Your Sweet Time
So I can be indecisive. I love to simply take my time looking and thinking. Once I find some thing I like I sometimes cannot determine if I actually like it, want it or need it. I need time to consider it, especially with garments or perhaps a duvet cover, not so much with products like dog food or baby wipes. Shopping online allows you to set things on the want list or in your shopping cart. You can always come back again to these items, and so long as you are signed in to your account the items will always be there when you come back. Being in a shop nearly gives me anxiety, not because I am agoraphobic, but choices must certanly be made and I feel hurried. Online tomorrow I could look at products now and purchase them, no rush!

No Annoying Sales Associates
I value the assist when I need it, but do not take care of the sales people constantly asking questions to me, so close they make me feel they came alongside them to go shopping. I understand they are doing their job, but I enjoy when they leave me alone but remain approachable so if I do need them they are accessible. This is precisely how it is online, they are a click, e-mail or even phone call away to assist you with anything you may have questions about.

Avoid People All Together
I like people, but not in large crowds. Sometimes you rather simply not need to talk to anyone. Shopping online is just one of the simplest solution to avoid people or crowds, especially good for weekends and vacations. Why does anyone even go anywhere on Black Friday anymore? Most major companies use Cyber Monday to provide the same deals online, and I have found Cyber Monday generally lasts through the week. I like to even order pizza online, it cuts out having to speak to someone on the telephone.

The Website is Never Closed
Now that I think about it, I probably do most my shopping late night. The site is never closed so wether you're a night owl or a morning person (the extremely early morning person, you are awake so early stores are not even open but) you can shop whenever you want!! No need to watch for the business marketing ( to open.

Transportation Costs vs Fuel Costs
Shopping online usually includes having to pay-for shipping. You may be saving yourself money by staying at home and shopping instead of growing in your car and driving however much you have to go. A lot of websites even offer free shipping on orders totaled over a certain dollar amount such as $50, $75 or $100. Before checking out I always Google coupons or discounts for the special site because you can sometimes qualify for things like free shipping or discounts.

Waiting For the Bundle
This has to be the most enjoyable part about online shopping, and friends of mine have said the same thing! When I was pregnant with my son I was receiving bundles all the time; things I was buying for the baby and things people were sending me from what they purchased off my baby registry. It truly is like a present, getting a package has always been exciting.
